Not only is It very rewarding to have people love my artwork but It's also pretty cool to travel to the different galleries that represent me for shows and demonstrations.The nature of my business gives me an unbelievable amount of free time, as I can paint wherever and whenever I want and it's not really like work. People pay me to do the thing I love and I guess that's one of the reasons I think I'm so lucky.I enjoy traveling, especially to Europe. I live alone with my dog Joe. He is a whippet [kind of like miniature greyhounds]..We just lost his older brother bogey......On May 3rd we welcomed a new puppy...his name is Rudy
We live in a new house and studio next to Freedom Park in Little Five Points. It is a very funky neighborhood where we can walk to all sorts of restaurants, bars and clubs. I teach and train in a form of karate called Cuong Nhu and also run almost everyday... I just started this...I enjoy running, biking and golf as well. After classes I usually hang out with friends for dinner in the Highlands. I hate to eat alone. I love to cook, but never seem to cook just for myself. My specialties are jalepeno lobster corn chowder, sauteed mushrooms, cornbread, and scallops w/ fettucine [not all together of course]. I love my TIVO and I must admit I enjoy some of the shows on HBO and Comedy central. I hate watching sports, though, especially sports on TV. So I have no favorite NBA, NFL or any other team. All things being equal, however, I'm for the home team or the underdog. My pet peeves are incompetence and indifference . I hate having my time wasted. I'm the kind of guy who takes the shopping cart back to the store instead of parking it against your car. I count my groceries before getting in the express lane...and if you give me change for a $20 when I only gave you a $5, I'll tell you.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who brings something to the table....intelligent conversation, witty repartee....make me laugh.....as far as celebrities go I'd love to meet Bill Murray,Amanda Peet, David Letterman, Natalie Portman, Natasha Hestridge, Pat Metheney, Earl Klugh, Steven Speilberg and Amulette [ who inspired the " starving Heartist" Line
Hey hows my slapstick funny bob ross boy doin? Have you painted any happy little trees or unicorns today? ;) We need to go on strike as artists..this economy is really putting a damper on my yarn dolls and bedazzle sparkle t-shirts. GOosh!
